Malabar Farm, Big House
Lucas, Ohio
Pulitzer-Prize winning author and conservationist Louis Bromfield added to a late 19th century farm house to create this huge 32-room country manor. Completed in 1941, the home was frequented by many celebrities, including Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall who were married here. Malabar Farm State Park is located SE of Mansfield, Ohio on Pleasant Valley Road. Tours of the house are conducted daily.

Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course
Lexington, Ohio
Mid-Ohio's road course opened in 1962 and winds overs approximately 285 acres of rolling hills in north-central Ohio. Today, the track is 2.4 miles long, twists through 15 turns, and has 28 pits. Annual races include superbikes, vintage cars and motorcycles, Indy cars, and the SCCA National Championship.

Mohican State Park Resort
Loudonville, Ohio
Mohican Lodge, completed in 1974, sits above Pleasant Hill Lake. The resort has 96 rooms and features fine dining, meeting rooms, and recreational facilities including two pools, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and walking trails. Mohican State Park offers many hiking trails and a scenic covered bridge. Nearby are canoeing opportunities and Malabar Farm State Park. Mohican Resort is just off State Routes 95 and 97 near Loudonville, Ohio.

Pleasant Hill Lake
Perrysville, Ohio
Pleasant Hill Reservoir was constructed in 1938. The dam is 113' high, and the lake covers 850 acres, includes over 13 miles of shoreline, and reaches a maximun depth of 54'. Visitors enjoy camping, swimming, boating, and fishing. Pleasant Hill is located near Perrysville, Ohio, just off State Route 95.

Richland Carrousel Park
Mansfield, Ohio
The Richland Carrousel Park opened in 1991 as the first, new, large, park-style, hand carved carrousel built since the 1930's. It's 52 figures and 2 chariots were hand carved and hand painted. Below the rotating scenery panels depicting the history of Mansfield is a Stinson Band Organ. The handicapped accessible ride is open daily.

Snow Trails
Mansfield, Ohio
Snow Trails, Ohio's first ski resort, opened in 1961. It currently features six chairlifts, a vertical drop of 300', runs up to 2000' long, groomed hills, and night skiing. Snow Trails is located on Possum Run Road, two miles from the intersection of I-71 and State Route 13.
